Introducing Colleen, Our New Director of Program Operations
By Lacey Cole
Please join us in welcoming Colleen, our new Director of Program Operations!
Colleen joins the YMCA of the Greater Tri-Cities with previous experience at another YMCA, where she saw firsthand the impact the Y has on individuals and families. She was inspired by our mission to strengthen communities and create opportunities for people of all ages to thrive. In her new role, she’s looking forward to getting to know our staff, learning about our programs, and supporting the incredible work already happening across the Y.
Outside of work, Colleen loves to travel and aims to take one big international trip each year. She’s visited 13 countries so far and will add two more this year. A fun fact? While she enjoys all things girly, she also loves whitewater rafting and camping under the stars.
Colleen hopes to bring a collaborative, supportive leadership style and help create an environment where staff feel valued, connected, and empowered to do their best work.
She’d love to get to know everyone, so if you see her around, please stop by, introduce yourself, and say hello. Welcome to the YMCA family, Colleen!
