General Sports Information

Participating in youth sports programs at the YMCA can provide a range of benefits, such as promoting physical fitness, building social skills, and encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship among children and teenagers. Additionally, these programs can offer a safe and inclusive environment for young people to learn and grow while having fun and developing lifelong healthy habits.

The involvement of the community, parents and family volunteers is greatly appreciated and is an integral part in the success of our youth sports leagues.

Expose your kids to loads of fun as they learn sportsmanship and teamwork while building baseball skills such as hitting, throwing and catching. Have your child join us in learning America’s Favorite game!

Season: Summer

The best and most fun around! Coaches work on basic ball handling, passing, and shooting skills while kids enjoy learning this great game that was invented at the Y!

Season: Late Fall

Join YMCA flag football and learn basic footwork, ball handling techniques and fundamental football skills without the risk of heavy contact.

Season: Fall

Designed to encourage participation and having fun, kids are taught basic game skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting as well as sportsmanship.

For the more experienced and competitive players, the Pasco YMCA offers soccer programs for youth ages 6-14—Divisions U6, U8, U10, U12 & U14.

Summer soccer camps will provide a fun environment for players to develop and improve their soccer technique and grow their love of the game. Each day, players will participate in an exciting mix of training and games.

Ensuring children are safe from abuse and able to learn, grow and thrive is the highest priority of the YMCA. We are committed to creating programs that protect children from abuse, but we are also committed to providing our families and community with information to keep kids safe everywhere.
