Summer Camp is officially in full swing, and we’re excited to be spending another summer helping kids learn, grow, and thrive. Every day brings new opportunities for campers to build friendships, try new activities, stay active, and create lasting memories in a safe, supportive environment.

The YMCA of the Greater Tri-Cities Summer Day Camp serves families throughout the community with camp locations at Amistad Elementary, Amon Creek Elementary, Lincoln Elementary and Ridgeview Elementary. From games, crafts, outdoor adventures, and STEM activities to swimming, field trips, and special guests, each day is designed to keep kids engaged, active, and having fun all summer long.

For many families, Summer Camp is about more than just fun, it’s a trusted place where children can thrive while parents manage the demands of summer.

“I am so thankful for the YMCA Summer Camp during this busy season for our family. I was in need of a safe place for my kids to go during the day, and when my usual child care options were unavailable, I turned to the YMCA. Knowing that the kids are in a safe, structured environment while I’m at work, running errands, or simply trying to get caught up on the endless household chores removes one layer of stress. The camp staff have been friendly and helpful, and I leave feeling that my kids are in good hands.” – Camper Parent

To help families stay connected, we publish weekly camp newsletters for each camp location. These newsletters include upcoming activities, field trip reminders, important dates, what to bring, and other helpful information to help your camper have a successful week. You can find the latest newsletters anytime on our Summer Day Camp webpage by scrolling to the Newsletters section near the bottom of the page.

Thank you to our campers, families, and dedicated staff for making this another incredible summer. We look forward to many more adventures together!
